Morrissey showed a graphic animal abuse video at his Dublin gig and people were traumatised
LAST NIGHT, MORRISSEY performed his highly anticipated gig in Dublin’s 3Arena. At one point in the show, Mozza’s assembled devotees were treated to a rather graphic video showing animal abuse as he performed Meat is Murder.
The segments were excerpted from Farm to Fridge, a 2011 documentary showing what goes on in America’s slaughterhouses. It’s become a feature of his shows and invariably leaves attendees in a state of discomfort.

Irish attendees were no different.
Some viewed it as a bit of an atmosphere killer.
Some just looked at the floor.

And it was pretty much the worst possible video to be confronted with if you were at all fragile.

It seems to have had the desired effect on a few concert-goers anyway.
